Not your average midsize sedan

Blake Griffin's semi-spectacular final dunk in the NBA dunk contest quickly turned into a Kia commercial.

Although so many people like to diminish the dunk, such as Jim Rome of ESPN who joked that "Griffin didn't dunk over a car, he dunked over a Kia," Kia is taking full advantage of the Blake Griffin bandwagon as they had Griffin sign autographs at their sposored area during NBA Jam Session, had him sign the Optima he dunked over and now this.

I still wish he would have dunked over the Old Spice guy on a horse and now this commercial makes me wonder what the Old Spice commercial would have looked like.

Unfortunately, I'm a writer and not a video editor, so you'll have to settle for the Kia commercial.

What's a Bieber? MVP

He didn't have much luck at the Grammy's. His movie wasn't quite at the top of the weekend box office. However, Justin Bieber came out on top at the NBA Celebrity All-Star game today. Well, kind of. His team lost, but he won game MVP honors with eight points.

Bieber is doing something right. When Rick Fox says you have the softest hair in the world, you know it's legit. Rick Fox knows a thing or two about great hair.

As you could imagine, the boy wonder is not exactly physically gifted enough to go up against the likes of Scottie Pippen, as the hall of famer sent back a Bieber shot attempt, but Bieber held his own around former NBA players and even rapper/actor Common (Yeah, I said actor. He's got his SAG card, baby, he's an actor.)

Bieber is taking over music, the big screen, the hearts of clueless little girls and now a basketball court near you.

Drink in this mugshot

Detroit Tigers' star Miguel Cabrera was arrested yesterday for DUI in Florida. He's had problems with alcohol before and I'll save you the big news story that's been reported all day.

Let's focus on this glorious mugshot. Drink it in, goes down smooth.

It's almost as if he's excited to have been arrested.

I'd like to say that this mugshot shows that he's not an aggressive alcoholic, but his 2009 domestic abuse incident shows otherwise. http://mobile.associatedcontent.com/article/2251731/miguel_cabrera_drunk_in_domestic_violence.html

Hockey Fight Frenzy

The first video below is from matchup between the Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars on Feb. 8. Now, fighting in hockey isn't exactly a rarity, but these stick out a bit. The first video in particular.

If you look at the top right of the video, you'll notice that the game is barely starting and three consecutive fights break out within four seconds being killed off the clock.

What I love is that they didn't all start a rumble as soon as the puck dropped. They sort of took turns and as soon as one fight got broken up and they tried to resume play, the next fight started.

In this fight, what you're going to see is Michael Haley of the New York Islanders drop Max Talbot of the Pittsburgh Penguins. However, after that, he's still feelling strong and goes after Penguins' goalie Brent Johnson. It didn't end well for Haley.

Kidney Success: Coach donates to player

Wake Forest freshman outfielder Kevin Jordan started his collegiate experience in a dialysis machine. He needed a kidney badly and doctors could not find a match, until his head coach Tom Walter found out he was compatible.

This wasn't a case where Jordan grew up with Walter, or Walter is best friends with Jordan's parents. It was just an opportunity for Walter to do something amazing for someone else and basically saved Jordan's life.

Jordan has not played one game for Wake Forest, yet Walter said he'd do it for any of his players or former players.

This is one of those sports stories that puts life in perspective. Sports are just games, yet so many life lessons can come from them.

Jordan has been drafted by the Yankees.

Many people say they'd give a kidney for someone, this is a story of someone who actually did it.

Game: Blouses

Kim Kardashian might have done well in "Dancing With the Stars," but Prince must have been too much star to dance with as he kicked her off his stage.

Kim K. was invited to the stage at Prince's Madison Square Garden concert last night and was star-struck. She just stood there as Prince promptly got irritated and kicked her off the stage.

Prince is the King of his court and Kim will never be able to watch a Knick's game at MSG the same way again.

She should just stay at Staples Center with Khloe.

There's nothing sexier

"There's something sexy about a couple sharing a scent."

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian Odom will be releasing a unisex fragrance this Sat., Feb. 12.

I really hope Lamar isn't traded anywhere. L.A. needs him and he needs L.A.
There's nothing sexier than smelling like a woman, or a man, or something like that.

I wonder if Kobe's going to rock Lamar's scent during post-game interviews.

XLV- Top 5 Reasons to ride the Green Bay bandwagon

Super Bowl XLV is the perfect venue to debut my new column, I mean, blog. I'm getting the party started with the first featured Top-5 as we congratulate the Green Bay Packers for their 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Top 5 reasons to ride the Green Bay Packers bandwagon

5. The People's Champ- Aaron Rodgers came out of Cal with swagger that analysts used against him and might be the reason he wasn't the number one pick that year. Well the self-proclaimed "People's Champ" has earned that name, at least for a season. It's going to be fun watching him ride the "People's Champ" bit all next season.(Assuming there will be a next season.)

4. Everyone loves surprise hugs-

3. Brett Favre
Not a legitimate reason to jump on the bandwagon, but just wanted to mention Brett.

2. 'Cause Stone Cold said so

1. Lil Wayne is on it- Anything Lil Wayne touches turns to gold, even the Packers bandwagon. It is highly possible that the Packers won because of Lil Wayne's remix to Wiz Khalifa's, "Black and Yellow."

OK, so maybe there aren't many good reasons to jump on the Packers bandwagon, but they are the champs this year, that's usually enough reason for some people.
